Shipping & Delivery Policy

Delivery times, freight, packing, tracking and what to do on receipt.

Last updated: 12 October 2026

Goods on CARTXIO ship from our sellers' warehouses across India. This policy explains how delivery works for single items, pallets and containers.

1. Where we deliver

We deliver to serviceable PIN codes in India. Serviceability and the estimated delivery time are shown on the listing or at checkout once you enter your PIN code. Some bulk and freight orders are delivered to business addresses with loading access only.

2. Dispatch and delivery times

  • Sellers must dispatch within 48 hours of order confirmation unless the listing states a different lead time.
  • Estimated delivery depends on the distance, shipment type and carrier. The listing shows a maximum delivery time; for non-delivery see Buyer Protection.
  • Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by weather, strikes, customs, road restrictions or carrier delays.

3. Shipping charges

  • Shipping is paid by the buyer unless the listing offers free shipping.
  • Parcels: charged by weight or volume and distance.
  • Pallets and truckloads: a freight rate per pallet, or by weight and volume, shown at checkout or quoted by the seller.
  • Containers: freight to the named port or destination as stated on the listing; customs duties, port charges and unloading are extra unless stated.
  • Re-delivery because of a wrong or incomplete address, or because nobody could receive the goods, is at the buyer's cost.

4. Packing

Sellers must pack goods so they reach you safely: sealed cartons with a label for standard items; strapped or wrapped boxes on pallets for liquidation lots; protective wrap and a Fragile label for breakable goods. Each package carries the seller's name, your delivery address and the order number. A packing list or manifest accompanies each lot shipment.

5. Tracking

Sellers upload the courier name and tracking number within 48 hours of dispatch. You can follow the shipment in the order page and will get SMS, email or app updates at key milestones. Pallet and container shipments are tracked through the freight partner's updates.

6. On delivery

  • Check the outer packaging before accepting; note visible damage on the delivery receipt.
  • Photograph or film the sealed package and label, then the opening and contents.
  • For bulk lots, count against the manifest before the carrier leaves where possible.
  • Report any problem promptly from the order page (Buyer Protection); voluntary return terms are shown on each listing.
  • Forklifts, trolleys or labour for unloading may be needed at your end; confirm loading-bay access when you order.

7. Failed or refused delivery

If delivery fails because you were unreachable or refused without a covered reason, the carrier may return the goods; the freight and return costs can be deducted from any refund. If the address is wrong, tell us at once; re-dispatch is at your cost.

8. Customs and import

Where a listing is for imported stock sold ex-bonded or as a container, import duties, IGST, customs clearance and demurrage are as stated on the listing and are the buyer's responsibility unless the listing says otherwise.
