Prohibited & Restricted Items

• Counterfeit, replica, fake or pirated goods, and goods that infringe patents, trademarks, copyright or design rights.
• Stolen goods, goods obtained by fraud, or goods subject to a lien or seizure.
• Illegal drugs and narcotic or psychotropic substances; prescription medicines and medical devices without the required licence; tobacco, e-cigarettes and vaping products; alcohol without a licence.
• Weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks and any item regulated under the Arms Act or Explosives Act.
• Hazardous, flammable, toxic or radioactive materials and regulated chemicals without the required licences and safe packaging.
• Recalled goods, or goods that do not meet mandatory standards (BIS, CDSCO, FSSAI, WPC/ETA, BEE star labels and similar) where certification is required for sale.
• Food and cosmetics past their expiry date, or with fewer than the stated months of remaining shelf life.
• Used or refurbished goods presented as new, and electronics with blocked, reported-lost or tampered IMEI or serial numbers.
• Adult or obscene material, or content that promotes hatred, violence or discrimination.
• Human organs, body parts, animals and animal products protected under the Wildlife Protection Act, and endangered species products.
• Government property, restricted-use defence stores, and goods whose sale needs a government permission you do not hold.
• Personal data, databases, accounts, vouchers or gift cards sold in breach of law or of terms of the issuer.
• Anything else the law prohibits or that could cause serious harm.

Some categories can be listed only if you hold and can show the required licence, certificate or import permission, and the listing states the details: for example branded goods (proof of authorised sourcing or an authority letter), batteries and e-waste (authorisation under the relevant rules), food (FSSAI), legal-metrology-declared packaged goods, and imported goods (bill of entry and duty paid proof).

Listings are checked automatically and by our team before and after publication. A first breach usually results in removal and a warning; serious or repeat breaches lead to suspension, withholding of payouts as allowed by law, and reporting to the authorities.
